Main House | First Floor

The main floor of this beautiful is boasts a gracious flow, aesthetic, and lifestyle. Just off the foyer is the receiving room, where the paneled underside of the floating stairwell doubles as a handsome and detailed ceiling. The parlor, living, and dining rooms have double pocket doors and richly detailed fireplace surrounds and mantles; the living and dining room fireplace tiles depict botanic motifs. The dining room includes a hooded alcove across from a recessed China cabinet with leaded glass uppers. Through the butler’s pantry (featuring Anaglypta wallpaper on the ceiling) is the kitchen – the renovation was completed to mirror the rich historic interior of the home. The kitchen includes a baker’s pantry, breakfast nook, Aga stove, and reclaimed tin ceiling. The main floor also includes a large powder room with an ornate radiator and stone floor. Floor plans available upon request.

Main House | Second Floor

Upstairs you’ll find the usual spaces for a modern home – four bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms – elevated by historic architectural detail. The original main bedroom welcomes you through a small, oak-trimmed vestibule, and the original “ladies’ den” opens onto the copper balcony/roof. The open stairwell curves up, past the library and oak loveseat on its landing, to the third floor: the tower on one side and the third floor entertaining room on the other. The large entertainment room opens to balconies on the north and south; the third floor also includes a full bathroom and fifth bedroom. Floor plans available upon request.

Main House | Basement

The back stairs (or the elevator) take you to the basement, where you’ll find a spacious laundry room with vintage sink, a full modern bathroom, a billiard room with brick floor and exposed limestone foundation walls, and more. Another curved wood staircase, this one hidden, discreetly takes you from the billiard room to the first floor receiving room. Floorplans available upon request.
